Health careers educational activities

Minnesota AHEC is dedicated to helping address the state’s growing educational achievement gap. Our regional Health Careers Specialists create and present customized, age-appropriate, hands-on activities for your class, school or career fair. We also have the resources to help you create and present your own educational activities.

For more information, the University of Minnesota Health Careers Center(HCC) is a central resource for the latest information on careers in healthcare.

The Health Careers Center offers an online course titled AHS 1102: Orientation to Health Careers.  The course is available to high school Juniors and Seniors who have an interest in health careers. Post-secondary course credit is available after completing this 1 credit course.
