We specialize in creating health educational opportunities and curriculum that encourage students to consider exploring health careers. Health careers educational activities Minnesota AHEC is dedicated to helping address the state’s growing educational achievement gap. Our regional Health Careers Specialists create and present customized, age-appropriate, hands-on activities for your class, school or career fair. University of Minnesota resources Discover the admissions criteria and strategies on being a successful applicant to the multiple health degree programs offered at the University of Minnesota in one stop. For more information, the University of Minnesota Health Careers Center(HCC) is a central resource for the latest information on careers in healthcare. The Health Careers Center offers an online course titled AHS 1102: Orientation to Health Careers. The course is available to high school Juniors and Seniors who have an interest in health careers.
