The University of Minnesota Health Careers Center is a central resource for the latest information on a career in health. The Health Careers Center provides profiles of different types of health careers, pre-requisite courses, admission criteria and strategies on being a successful applicant to the University of Minnesota’s health professions schools.

The Minnesota AHEC has put together the Minnesota Health Professions Education Opportunities brochure, a list of Minnesota Colleges and Universities offering 4-year and graduate-level health professions degrees.

ExploreHealthCareers.org gives students a free, reliable, and comprehensive source of accurate, up-to-date information about the health professions, including information on and health-related education/training programs, financial aid resources, specialized learning opportunities, and current issues in health care.

The Bureau of Health Professions' Kids into Health Careers provides information to assist in developing strategies to achieve a diverse, culturally competent health professions workforce.

Learn to Care is a web site with information about a range of health care careers in Minnesota. The web site also offers information on which colleges offer medical degrees, how much it costs, and future earnings.

Lifeworks is an interactive career exploration web site for middle and high school students. Users can browse for information on more than 100 medical science and health careers, or use the "Career Finder" to generate a customized list of careers especially suited for users' skills and interests.

The Minnesota Hospital Association's myfirstday.org helps students investigate their interests and observe what a first day in a health career might be like. This resource also directs users to valuable information, such as tuition reimbursement programs, job shadowing, volunteer openings, and more.

The interactive game Outbreak at Watersedge helps students discover how the roles of public health professionals promote health and prevent illness.

fahrenHEIGHT360 helps college students interested in health care and the helping professions to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop the skills that will be essential to succeed.

MnCareers offers Minnesota-specific details about different occupations and assistance with making career decisions and future choices.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development provides information about Minnesota careers, salaries, and economic trends.

Minnesota Health Occupations Students of American (HOSA) provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult and collegiate students enrolled in health occupations education programs.

The Healthcare Education Industry Partnership, a program of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, provides information on degree programs offered at various academic institutions across the state.
