Community Members
Northeast Minnesota AHEC works with individuals and organizations in our region to develop programs that address locally identified health care education needs. Join us for these exciting and informative programs.
Community educational opportunities
- Take part in the U’s Mini-Medical School, a five-week series that covers topics from anatomy to pharmacology, taught by expert faculty and physicians.
- Visit our Health Professions Library, which provides DVDs, games, train-the-trainer manuals, and CPR and other medical models to instructors and community members who present health-care related programs. Also see our resources for K-12 teachers.
- Participate in local and regional conferences, or work with regional and statewide organizations with similar goals, such as the Minnesota Mental Health Action Group (MMHAG).
